Baghdad: The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Extraction Affairs, Naseer Aziz, chaired a meeting with representatives of KBR and other companies within the consortium to follow up on development and operation plans for the Subba and Abu Amoud oil fields in Dhi Qar Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting discussed technical and contractual aspects, development plans, the project's implementation program, and timelines. The Undersecretary emphasized the importance of adhering to technical and contractual requirements and strengthening coordination among relevant parties to ensure the project's completion within the specified timeframes. This will contribute to the development of the two fields, increase production capacities, and optimize the utilization of associated gas.
