Baghdad: “The Arab foreign ministers discussed the Arab Summit agenda in a closed session and approved five Iraqi initiatives.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Awadi stated: “The agenda included eight main items, covering Arab action files, foremost among which is the Palestinian issue.” He noted: “The projects will be submitted to the leaders and heads of state and government at the League of Arab States Council at the summit level.”

He continued: “The ministerial program submitted to the leaders includes the Palestinian issue and the Arab conflict with the Zionist entity.”

He pointed out that the ministerial program also includes Arab affairs and national security, including 11 Arab issues or crises with details, as well as climate change and joint Arab security issues.

He continued: “The Ministerial Council approved and ratified five Iraqi initiatives:

– The initiative to establish an Arab Center for Combating Terrorism.

– The initiative to establish an Arab Center for Combating Drugs.

– The initiative to establish an Arab Center for Combating National Crime.

– The initiative to establish a Joint Arab Security Coordination Room.

– The Arab Fund initiative to support recovery and reconstruction efforts from the effects of crises.”
