Baghdad: The government has emphasized the need for competent authorities to undertake legal and judicial actions in line with the Constitution following the incidents in Sulaymaniyah.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Sabah Al-Numan, the spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, stated that the federal government insists on the execution of these measures with impartiality and transparency, avoiding any form of armed intimidation or pressure on citizens.

Al-Numan further stressed that law enforcement must respect human dignity and uphold human rights. The federal government, through its constitutional and security bodies, is committed to ensuring the safety of citizens across Iraq, including the Sulaymaniyah Governorate.
