Baquba: Diyala Governor Adnan al-Shammari inaugurated the main Al-Rahma Street project west of Baquba after its completion. During the inauguration, the governor stated, “The opening of this project comes as part of the local government’s efforts to develop infrastructure and improve the road network, thus facilitating the movement of citizens and raising the level of services provided to them.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Shammari emphasized that the completion of the main Al-Rahma Street project represents an important step within the governorate’s plan to implement service and development projects. He stressed the continuation of work to complete more projects that meet the needs of citizens and contribute to supporting the reconstruction and development process in various areas of Diyala.

Al-Rahma Street is considered one of the most important and vital commercial streets in the Yarmouk neighborhood, as it separates the first and second Yarmouk districts and forms a main artery for commercial and traffic movement, due to its numerous shops and markets.
