Karbala: The governor of Karbala, Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, held a meeting with Dr. Hassanein Safaa Shabar, the head of the Iraqi Medical Association, along with a delegation of association members, to discuss important aspects of the health plan for the upcoming Arbaeen pilgrimage.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions centered around enhancing cooperation and joint coordination between the local government and medical personnel. The meeting focused on supporting medical staff and developing effective healthcare mechanisms to manage the large influx of pilgrims during the Arbaeen pilgrimage. Governor Al-Khattabi emphasized the local government’s commitment to bolstering the health sector to provide optimal services for both citizens and pilgrims.
