Karbala: The Governor of Karbala, Eng. Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, held discussions with Adel Karim, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Electricity Affairs, focusing on enhancing support for the governorate amid the influx of millions of pilgrims. These discussions are part of the preparations for the Millions-Visits Pilgrimage, a significant religious event initiated by Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting centered on addressing the energy requirements essential for accommodating the millions of pilgrims. Key topics included the evaluation of ongoing projects, their progress, and identifying solutions to overcome the challenges hindering their completion. The discussions also emphasized ensuring readiness before the upcoming Arbaeen Pilgrimage and managing the anticipated increase in energy demand during the summer peak.
