Governor of Karbala Monitors Progress on Arbaeen Pilgrimage Projects

Karbala: The Governor of the Holy City of Karbala, Engineer Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, is actively overseeing projects in preparation for the upcoming Arbaeen pilgrimage. During a recent meeting with his deputies for Development and Reconstruction Affairs and Legal Affairs, as well as the Director of the Roads and Bridges Department in the governorate, and supervising engineers, the governor assessed several projects aimed at facilitating the pilgrimage.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting focused on reviewing the progress of ongoing projects and identifying significant obstacles that could impede their completion before the start of the Arbaeen pilgrimage. Discussions were held on potential solutions to these challenges to expedite the work.

The Governor highlighted the importance of these projects, emphasizing their role as a critical component in supporting the governorate's service and organizational plans. These initiatives are expected to improve traffic flow, reduce congestion, and enhance the level of services available to the millions of pilgrims attending the Arbaeen pilgrimage.
