Karbala: The Governor of the Holy City of Karbala, Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, received Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran, along with his delegation. The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq, Mohammad Kazem Al-Sadegh, and the Iranian Consul, Jafar Safari.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Ghalibaf commended the ongoing development in Karbala. He expressed gratitude and appreciation towards the local government and residents for their hospitality during the Arba’een pilgrimage of Imam Hussein. Ghalibaf acknowledged the significant efforts made to accommodate and serve the pilgrims.
