Najaf:The annual Grand Fatimid procession has commenced, led by the religious authority Bashir al-Najafi, with thousands of mourners in attendance to commemorate the martyrdom of Fatima al-Zahra, revered as the Lady of the Women of the Worlds.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the procession began from the office of the al-Najafi authority in the old city and headed towards the shrine of Imam Ali. During the event, Ali al-Najafi, the son of Bashir al-Najafi, addressed the participants, calling for Islamic unity and adherence to the principles of the true religion.
