Gunmen Hold 450 Train Passengers Hostage in Pakistan

Quetta: Officials said that gunmen held more than 450 passengers hostage on a train, and wounded its driver in an attack on Tuesday in the troubled Balochistan province in southwestern Pakistan. Railway officials stated that the Jaffar Express train was on its way from Quetta in Balochistan province in southwestern Pakistan to Peshawar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa when it came under fire.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, in a statement, the Balochistan Liberation Army, an armed separatist group, claimed responsibility for the attack and said that they had taken hostages from the train, including security forces.
