Gaza city: The Islamic Resistance Movement, commonly known as Hamas, has announced that an agreement has been reached to end the ongoing war in Gaza. This agreement includes the withdrawal of occupying forces, the entry of humanitarian aid, and a prisoner exchange.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the negotiations leading to this agreement were conducted by Hamas and other Palestinian resistance factions in Sharm el-Sheikh. Hamas expressed gratitude for the mediation efforts provided by Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey. The movement also acknowledged the role of US President Donald Trump in working towards a final end to the conflict and ensuring the complete withdrawal of occupying forces from the Gaza Strip.

Hamas emphasized the importance of President Trump and the guarantor states ensuring the occupation government fully implements the agreement’s terms. They urged that there should be no allowance for evasion or delay in the execution of the agreed-upon measures. Furthermore, Hamas reiterated its commitment to the sacrifices of the Palestinian people, pledging to uphold their national rights, including freedom, independence, and self-determination.
