Hamas Announces Arrival of Released Palestinian Prisoners in Cairo


Cairo: Hamas announced today, Sunday, that the liberated Palestinian prisoners released from the Israeli occupation prisons as part of Al-Aqsa Flood deal, have arrived in the Egyptian capital, Cairo. Hamas said in a statement that “the leadership of the Hamas movement and a number of leaders of the Palestinian factions and the families of the prisoners were receiving the prisoners.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the statement indicated that a leadership delegation from the Hamas movement headed by Muhammad Darwish, head of the leadership council and head of the movement’s Shura Council, arrived in Cairo on an official visit during which he will meet with officials in Egypt, and will receive the deported prisoners expected to arrive as part of the second exchange process.
