Hamas Calls Zionist Entity’s Actions in Doha a Declaration of War on Arab Countries

Doha: Hamas has declared that the recent actions of the Zionist entity in Doha represent not just an attack on Qatar, but a broader declaration of war on Arab countries. Fawzi Barhoum, a leader in the Palestinian Hamas movement, emphasized that these actions pose a threat to regional and international security.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Barhoum stated in a Hamas-issued statement that the crime committed in Doha by the Zionist enemy was not merely aimed at the negotiating delegation, but targeted the entire peace negotiation process. He pointed out that an assassination attempt on the Hamas negotiating delegation occurred while discussions on a US proposal for a ceasefire were underway, indicating the Zionist entity’s pursuit of an illusory victory.

Barhoum further stressed that threats to assassinate Hamas leaders would not succeed in undermining the movement’s steadfastness and resistance. He asserted that such threats would only fortify their resolve, and that the movement would continue to defend the rights of the Palestinian people. The assassination attempt, he stated, would not alter Hamas’s positions or demands.

He highlighted that the lives of Hamas leaders are valued equally with those of the children in Gaza, Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Palestine. Barhoum called for immediate Arab action in response to the Zionist attack on Doha, describing the current resistance as a testament to the resilience and sacrifice of the Palestinian people in the face of what he termed as barbaric aggression.
