Gaza city: The Hamas Movement confirmed on Tuesday that it has begun taking measures to facilitate the work of the “Gaza Administration” Committee.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Hamas Spokesperson Hazem Qassem stated that the movement has initiated logistical and administrative actions to ease the committee’s operations, ensuring a smooth transition of control.

Qassem articulated that the Movement is not imposing any preconditions for the committee’s formation or the start of its activities. However, it anticipates independent and proficient technical performance from the committee. He emphasized that Hamas’s primary interest in Gaza is to support and guarantee the committee’s success, aiming to provide relief and aid to the Palestinian population.

Furthermore, Qassem highlighted that the Movement is collaborating with mediators to exert pressure on the occupation, advocating for the committee’s operational freedom within the Gaza Strip. The region faces intricate and challenging issues that demand high-level professional and efficient management.
