Hamas Completes Fourth Prisoner Exchange Under Gaza Ceasefire Agreement

Gaza: Hamas movement announced the completion of the fourth prisoner exchange operation, according to the terms of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza. The Movement said in a statement: “The handover operation today took place in front of a platform bearing pictures of the martyred leaders Al-Daif and his brothers, members of the military council, a message of covenant and loyalty that the men of Al-Qassam will remain and complete the journey.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Hamas added: “Within the framework of the Flood of the Free, the resistance released 3 prisoners of the enemy, one of whom is an Israeli with American citizenship, in exchange for the release of a new batch of our prisoners from the occupation’s prisons,” noting that the good physical and psychological condition in which the enemy’s prisoners appear proves the values of our resistance and its moral commitment towards the prisoners, while the occupation commits the most heinous violations against our prisoners.

Hamas stressed: “The resistance’s achievement of the fourth exchange operation is a consolidation of its values and its principled commitment to the terms of the agreement,” while calling for pressure on the occupation to oblige it to implement the humanitarian protocol. It explained that: “Despite the harsh conditions, the Qassam Brigades were keen to provide the necessary health care for the Israeli prisoner, who holds American citizenship and suffers from multiple diseases.”

The mass gathering and popular crowds celebrating this achievement are seen as a referendum that resistance is the way to liberate the land and the holy sites.
