Gaza: Hamas has expressed its willingness to initiate intensive negotiations aimed at reaching a comprehensive agreement to cease hostilities, exchange prisoners, and establish an independent, professional body to administer the Gaza Strip. The organization emphasized the need for these discussions to commence immediately.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Hamas conveyed in a statement that an independent administration would ensure sustained calm and stability in the Gaza Strip. The proposed administration would also focus on reconstruction efforts and lifting the ongoing blockade, thereby contributing to long-term peace in the region.
The statement also acknowledged the significant efforts of mediators from Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey. Hamas expressed gratitude for their ongoing involvement and support in facilitating dialogues and seeking peaceful resolutions.
