Baghdad: Head of the "Abshir Ya Iraq" (Good News, Iraq) Alliance, Sheikh Humam Hammoudi, and Hadi Al-Amiri, Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, discussed the outcomes of the parliamentary elections and their success in consolidating the constitutional democratic system.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, both parties emphasized the necessity of adhering to the constitutional timelines for forming the authorities and the importance of the ongoing dialogues and understandings in moving towards a new vision for forming the government. This new vision would establish a corrective phase, commensurate with the economic and service-related challenges facing the country.
Hammoudi stressed the need to strengthen citizens' trust in the political process by bringing in new blood with competent and specialized individuals, and by adopting a new vision for managing the state, one that is free from narrow interests and favoritism.
