Baghdad: Lieutenant General Zaid Hoshi al-Moussawi, Head of the Counter-Terrorism Service, emphasized the importance of maintaining the highest levels of discipline and readiness while enhancing coordination among the Service’s formations and units. He stated that these measures would contribute to raising the efficiency of field performance and executing duties with professionalism and expertise.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Lieutenant General al-Moussawi met with commanders and officers at the Service’s headquarters to review recent security developments and assess the progress of operational duties. The meeting focused on evaluating the level of preparedness to confront various challenges.

The statement highlighted that the Head of the Service stressed the necessity of developing capabilities in line with the tasks and duties entrusted to the Service. He expressed appreciation for the achievements of the Service’s personnel in consolidating security and stability and protecting citizens.
