Kirkuk: Lieutenant General Jaafar al-Battat, head of the National Center for Crisis and Disaster Management, arrived at the Kirkuk Governorate building where he was received by the First Deputy Governor, Yawz Hamid, and the Kirkuk Police Chief, Major General Fatah Mahmoud al-Khafaji.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Lieutenant General al-Battat held an expanded meeting that included the mayor of Daquq District, the director of Laylan Sub-district, and several directors and members of the Crisis and Disaster Management Cell. During the meeting, he conveyed the greetings of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Interior to the Kirkuk administration and its citizens, acknowledging the efforts and work of the cell.
Lieutenant General al-Battat listened to a briefing on the current state of public services in Kirkuk and discussed its ongoing work with the joint team to prepare for the upcoming floods and support the work of service departments.
