Baghdad: The Director General of the Cinema and Theater Department and Head of the Iraqi Artists Syndicate, Dr. Jabbar Jawdi, attended the theatrical performance “Aura-Aquatic,” presented at the Experimental Theater Forum. The play, directed by Haider Najm, attracted a number of artists and theater enthusiasts.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, following the performance, Jawdi expressed his admiration for the artistic level demonstrated by the cast and crew, praising Haider Najm’s directorial vision and the aesthetic and intellectual treatment of the material. He noted that the performance reflected the Iraqi theater’s capacity to present contemporary and creative works.

Jawdi emphasized that the Cinema and Theater Department places great importance on supporting serious theatrical productions that contribute to the development of the theater movement. He highlighted the encouragement of young creative talents to present works that elevate artistic taste and meet the public’s expectations.

For his part, director Haider Najm expressed his gratitude to the Director General for his attendance and interest in following theatrical productions. He emphasized that this support represents a significant incentive to continue presenting theatrical works that carry artistic and humanistic visions, contributing to enriching the Iraqi cultural scene.
