Baghdad Head of the Parliamentary Legal Committee, Muhammad Anouz, stressed the necessity of amending some paragraphs of the constitution to get out of the ongoing crisis in the political process.

In a televised statement, Anouz said: “We still have legislation from the time of the monarchy, and the work of the Parliament is not commensurate with the magnitude of the challenges,” adding: “Customs, traditions and customs govern the political process.”

He continued: “The political forces must justify their presence and disclose their goals in building the state.”
