Nineveh: The head of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), Faleh al-Fayyad, has issued directives to bolster coordination and integration with security forces to secure the borders. This announcement was made following a field visit to the headquarters of the 73rd Brigade, part of the Nineveh Operations Command.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Faleh al-Fayyad, accompanied by a delegation of PMF commanders, met with field commanders to receive a comprehensive briefing on the security situation and the duties of the brigade. The discussions also covered the deployment of PMF units along the Iraqi-Syrian border.

Al-Fayyad emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration with various security forces to safeguard the borders. He highlighted the need for vigilance against potential terrorist infiltration and urged the enhancement of intelligence efforts to address current security challenges effectively.
