Baghdad: Health Minister Dr. Saleh Mahdi Al-Hasnawi received Dr. Ahmed Younis Al-Hasoud, the head of the Nineveh Provincial Council, to discuss the current health situation in the province. They were joined by the Director General of the Nineveh Health Department, Pharmacist Dilshad Ali Abdullah Shenkali, along with the ministry's administrative and technical undersecretaries and several directors general and relevant officials.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting focused on addressing the needs of health institutions in Nineveh, enhancing medical services for citizens, and overseeing the implementation of health projects. The discussion also covered the improvement of the health sector's infrastructure within the province.

Dr. Al-Hasnawi underscored the Ministry of Health's commitment to supporting Nineveh's health institutions. He emphasized ensuring the availability of necessary medicines and medical supplies to enhance the quality of health services provided to the citizens.

Dr. Al-Hasoud expressed appreciation for the Ministry of Health's support in the province's health sector. He highlighted the importance of continued coordination and cooperation to develop health services and meet the citizens' needs effectively.
