Baghdad: The Minister of Health, Dr. Abdul Hussein Al-Moussawi, has instructed the directors of the Baghdad health departments in Karkh, Rusafa, and Medical City to take a more hands-on role in managing hospitals for three days a week.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Health Minister's directive requires the directors to oversee hospital operations from the ground up, ensuring that management is conducted on a field basis for full official working hours. This initiative will commence at the largest hospital within each health department. Additionally, the Minister plans to conduct field visits to monitor the progress and effectiveness of this new management approach.
