Geneva: Minister of Health, Dr. Saleh Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, met with his Iranian counterpart, Dr. Mohammad Reza Zafarqandi, on the sidelines of the 78th session of the World Health Organization General Assembly.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, they discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation in the health field, particularly with regard to providing medical and health services during the million-pilgrim visits, particularly the Arbaeen pilgrimage, which witnesses the arrival of millions of visitors from both sides.

The two sides stressed the importance of technical coordination and exchange of expertise between the two ministries, which contributes to raising the level of health response and providing the best services to visitors.
