Baghdad: A heated argument erupted during the closed session of the House of Representatives, escalating into a physical altercation as the session was adjourned until Monday.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the dispute began after MP Mustafa Sand criticized the government's stance on the regional war. This was met with strong disapproval from MP Bahaa al-Araji, head of the Reconstruction and Development bloc, who responded harshly, leading to a physical fight and an exchange of slaps before other MPs intervened to break up the altercation.
