Baghdad: Speaker of Parliament Haibat al-Halbousi received the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Iraq, Maher al-Tarawneh, and the French Ambassador, Patrick Durel, separately, on the occasion of the end of their missions in Iraq.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Halbousi engaged in discussions with al-Tarawneh to explore the possibilities of expanding cooperation between Iraq and Jordan. The discussions focused on regional situations and several issues of common interest between the two countries. In his meeting with Ambassador Durel, al-Halbousi addressed bilateral relations and explored ways to enhance joint cooperation in various fields.
