Helicopter Carrying 4 People Crashes in Arizona Mountains

Arizona: A private helicopter carrying four people crashed in a mountainous area of Arizona, according to the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office. The office stated in a statement published on its official Facebook page that it received reports around 11:00 AM of a helicopter crash in the mountains near Telegraph Canyon, south of Superior, Arizona.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the statement added that teams from the office immediately went to the site, where the helicopter was spotted from the air and its crash was confirmed. The condition of the four people on board remains uncertain, as the rescue team is facing difficulties reaching the site due to its remote and rugged location.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) are investigating the circumstances of the accident. The Federal Aviation Administration also imposed temporary restrictions on air traffic over the area for safety reasons.
