Helicopter Crashes Amidst Wildfire Battle in Utah

Richfield: A helicopter involved in efforts to combat a wildfire in Utah crashed, as announced by the US Federal Aviation Administration. The incident occurred on Friday, with authorities yet to release information regarding the fate of the two individuals aboard the aircraft.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the helicopter was part of a fleet of seven aircraft engaged in extinguishing a significant wildfire that ignited due to lightning in central Utah. The blaze has expanded to cover an area of 165 square miles (427 square kilometers) and was reported to be 19 percent contained as of Friday.

The crash took place in Richfield, located approximately 160 miles (258 kilometers) south of Salt Lake City. The FAA has confirmed the location of the crash, but further details about the incident and the condition of the crew remain undisclosed at this time.
