Baghdad: The Board of Commissioners of the High Electoral Commission has decided to reject the complaint submitted by the Head of the Azm Alliance, Muthanna al-Samarrai, which sought to exclude the Head of the Progress Party, Mohammed al-Halbousi, from the upcoming elections.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the decision ensures that al-Halbousi will continue his candidacy as the number 1 candidate on his list for Baghdad Governorate.
