Baghdad: A high-level Iraqi security delegation will travel to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia tomorrow, Thursday, to discuss a number of security files and issues of common interest. The delegation will be headed by the Director of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir al-Shammari, and will include the Director of the Intelligence Service, Hamid al-Shatri, the Commander of the Air Defense Forces, Lieutenant General Muhannad al-Asadi, and the Director of the Counter-Terrorism Service, Lieutenant General Zaid al-Houshi.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the delegation will engage with their Saudi counterparts on several security matters of mutual concern. Key topics on the agenda include the attacks that have targeted the Kingdom and the challenges posed by drone technology. The meetings aim to explore avenues for enhancing security coordination and cooperation between Iraq and Saudi Arabia, strengthening the ties and collaborative efforts in addressing shared security challenges.
