Baghdad: The Holy Shrine of Imam Ali served as the venue for the 15th annual conference dedicated to the outreach project organized by the religious seminary during the Arba’een pilgrimage.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the conference was conducted under the theme “Our message is guidance, and our approach is that God’s guidance is the only true guidance.” The event was attended by notable figures including the legal custodian of the Abbasid Shrine, Ahmed al-Safi, the Secretary-General of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali, Issa al-Kharsan, representatives from the offices of religious authorities, scholars, professors from the religious seminary, and a significant number of preachers.

Karrar al-Khafaji, head of the Religious Affairs Department, highlighted that around four thousand male and female preachers are involved in the initiative. The project aims to disseminate religious awareness and culture and to promote values associated with service and faith during the Arba’een pilgrimage.

During the conference, Ahmed al-Safi, representing the Supreme Religious Authority, addressed the gathering. He highlighted the importance of outreach as a significant responsibility and urged preachers to provide religious guidance and recommendations to the pilgrims.
