Diwaniyah: Civil defense teams in Diwaniyah were able to control a fire that engulfed citizens’ homes due to season waste in Al-Wariji area of Al-Mahnawiyah District, west of the governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a security source stated that “the fire was the result of the burning of wheat crop lands and their waste, but it did burn a number of homes.” He noted that “the incident did not result in any human losses, except for material losses, and an investigation has been opened into the circumstances of the incident.”
