Saarbrcken: About 20 people were injured in a fire that broke out in a hospital in the German city of Saarbrcken. A city spokesperson announced that the fire erupted in a patient's room on the first floor of the main building. Several injured individuals were transferred to nearby hospitals, including a member of the rescue team.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the main building was evacuated, forcing about 100 people to leave. The spokesperson explained that the damage rendered the building unusable, requiring the transfer of some patients to other hospitals.
Firefighting teams managed to extinguish the fire with approximately 130 members of the fire brigade, ambulance, police, and civil defense involved in the operation. The police have not yet disclosed details about the fire's cause, as investigations are still underway.
