Baghdad: The House of Representatives voted today on the proposed second amendment to the Political Prisoners Foundation Law No. (4) of 2006. Following the vote, the House decided to adjourn its session until tomorrow, Wednesday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the session also included the first reading of the draft first amendment to the Minors’ Care Law No. 78 of 1980. The progression of these legislative activities highlights the ongoing efforts to address legal frameworks affecting political prisoners and the care of minors.
