BAGHDAD: The head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Mu’ayyad Al-Lami, met with the Minister of Construction, Housing and Municipalities, Benkin Rikani, to discuss the implementation of a housing project for journalists in Baghdad. The project is planned to be developed in the Zanbaraniya area by a specialized company with experience in similar works.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting focused on the mechanisms required to advance the housing project, with Al-Lami expressing gratitude for the ministry’s efforts in facilitating procedures essential for the completion of this initiative. The project aims to serve Baghdad’s journalists by providing dedicated housing solutions.

Minister Rikani commended the journalistic community for its role in promoting societal peace and unity within Iraq. He highlighted the importance of journalists in drawing attention to the government’s reconstruction and development efforts, emphasizing the positive impact such projects could have on the nation.
