Baghdad: The Houthi group in Yemen announced on Saturday evening that it had struck targets in Riyadh and Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. The announcement was made by the Houthi military spokesman, who stated, “We attacked sensitive targets in Riyadh and the Aramco facility in Yanbu using missiles and drones.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Saudi-led Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen had previously accused the Houthis of attempting to target Mecca with a drone last Wednesday. However, this allegation was denied by Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi.
