Humidity Wave to Peak in Southern Cities, Expected to Subside Tomorrow


Baghdad: Weather forecaster Sadiq Attiya has confirmed that the current humidity wave will reach its peak in the southern cities of the country today, Tuesday, with a relative subsidence expected starting tomorrow, Wednesday.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Attiya stated that the winds across the region will be predominantly northwesterly, varying or remaining calm most of the time, particularly in Basra and its coastal areas. The impact of heat exhaustion will persist through the start of next week.
