Baghdad: Al-Minaa coach Hussein Abdul Wahid affirmed his ambition to achieve victory in his team’s match against Al-Kahraba, scheduled for tomorrow, as part of the Professional League competitions. Speaking at a press conference held at the Al-Alija Association headquarters in Baghdad, Abdul Wahid stated that the team has been performing well, but bad luck has prevented them from achieving the desired results in recent matches. He explained that their positive performance is a strength and motivation to continue working and striving for even better results.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Al-Minaa coach added that his team seeks a result that will please the Al-Minaa fans and management, expressing his hope that the players will be successful against Al-Kahraba and secure a victory. For his part, Al-Minaa player Hassan Ali Barhi confirmed that the team has moved past their previous match and is currently preparing to face Al-Kahraba with high focus. He indicated that the coaching staff is working on studying the opponent’s strengths and weaknesses.
Barhi said that the match will be difficult and important, emphasizing the players’ determination to secure the three points and return to Basra with a victory that will delight the fans and management and live up to their expectations. Al-Minaa team has 8 points in the Iraqi Stars League.
