Baghdad: The Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) announced that voter turnout for the 2025 Iraqi parliamentary elections reached 56.11% across all Iraqi governorates. The IHEC has also reported receiving a total of 77 electoral complaints related to the elections.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the IHEC specified that 40 complaints were associated with the 2025 Iraqi parliamentary elections, while the remaining 37 complaints pertained to the general election. In an effort to maintain transparency and order during the electoral process, the IHEC republished the electoral campaign regulations No. 4 of 2025 earlier on Wednesday.

The announcement comes as part of IHEC’s ongoing efforts to ensure a fair and transparent electoral process, while addressing any concerns or complaints that may arise during the elections.
