Karbala: The Imam Hussein Shrine is completing its preparations to receive the funeral procession of the martyr Khamenei. The General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein announced in an official statement the completion of its service and organizational preparations to receive the funeral procession of the martyr Sayyid Ali Khamenei inside the shrine of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him. This is in implementation of the directives of the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority and its legal custodian, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai, and the Secretary-General, Hassan Rashid Jawad al-Abayji, with the participation of various departments to ensure the smooth organization of the ceremonies.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the administration of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein has completed the preparation of the procession’s routes and the movement of participants, along with the deployment of service and medical personnel, and the organization of the main entry and exit points for the procession. Furthermore, preparations have been made inside the holy shrine for the performance of the prayers, which will be led by the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai.

On the media front, the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein announced the preparation of a media plan to cover the funeral ceremonies, in addition to facilitating the work of local, Arab, and international media personnel.

The Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein affirmed that all its staff are working with a strong sense of responsibility, urging participants to cooperate with the organizing bodies to ensure the smooth conduct of the ceremonies.
