Basra: Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization Arsenio Dominguez, along with Minister of Transport Razzaq Muhaibis Al-Saadawi, Iraqi Ambassador to London Jaafar Al-Sadr, Basra Governor Asaad Al-Eidani, and Director of Iraqi Ports Farhan Al-Fartousi, visited the Umm Qasr southern port to inspect the ongoing projects and assess the work status.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the visit included an inspection of the immersed tunnel project at the Grand Faw Port. Dominguez’s visit to Basra was primarily aimed at reviewing the progress of the Faw Port projects and understanding the developments within the region’s maritime infrastructure.
