Baquba The security forces imposed a security belt around a village northeast of Baquba, the center of Diyala governorate.
A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA): “The security forces imposed a security belt around Al-Raya area on the outskirts of Al-Abara district, northeast of Baquba, after the terrorist attack yesterday, which resulted in the death of a Popular Mobilization fighter and the injury of a civilian.”
He added, “This measure was taken in order to track down the terrorists and comb the orchards, in order to give messages of reassurance to the people about the security situation.”
