Najaf, The farmers of Al-Mishkhab district, 30 km south of Najaf, closed the Irrigation Department in the district and the main road leading to it from the Ghammas district, in protest against the lack of agricultural water.
The Directorate of Water Resources indicated in an official clarification that “the planting plan is 30% of the water, and the farmers exceeded the plan and planted 70% of the water, and we do not have enough water.”
