Baghdad Under the slogan (With the sacrifices of our martyrs and the giving of our journalists), the electoral conference of the Syndicate branch in Diwaniyah began at the headquarters of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate in Diwaniyah, in the presence of the Head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Head of the Arab Journalists Union Moayad al-Lami, to elect the Head and members of the administrative body of the branch.

15 candidates are competing in the elections, 3 for the presidency of the branch and 12 for the administrative body.
