Inclusion of destroyed houses in the old city of Mosul

Mosul – The Director of the project for the reconstruction of the Totenji House and the destroyed houses in the Old City revealed that the Ministry of Culture, in cooperation with the UNESCO, included the reconstruction of the destroyed houses.

Musab Muhammad told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the percentage of completion in the destroyed House of Al-Tunji, one of the most prominent archaeological landmarks in Old Mosul, which was destroyed among the archaeological monuments by ISIS, has reached 80%, and there will be a full announcement of its completion during the next few days.

He added, “The Ministry of Culture announced the inclusion of the largest possible number of damaged houses in the old Mosul shops in Al-Amar by the Ministry of Culture in coordination and cooperation with UNESCO during the coming days.”
