Baghdad: Saleh Muhammad al-Iraqi, known as the Sadr Minister, announced the arrest of several infiltrators among the Arba’een pilgrims in Najaf.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Iraqi, who serves as the spokesperson for the Sadr Movement leader Muqtada al-Sadr on social media, stated that these individuals were apprehended for spreading propaganda and attempting to destabilize security during the pilgrimage. They were reportedly disseminating negative information against the Arba’een pilgrimage, guesthouses, and processions through various groups and social media platforms.

Al-Iraqi further emphasized that the names of these infiltrators may be made public, and they will be handed over to the security forces. He called for cooperation with the authorities to identify and uncover any remaining individuals involved in these activities.
