Baquba A joint force from the Diyala Operations Command and the North Axis in the Popular Mobilization launched a security operation this morning in the area between Kirkuk-Baghdad road, Ain Laila- Qara Tabbah road in the Hamrin mountain range.
The Popular Mobilization media said in a statement that a security operation was carried out today from five axes led by the 1st, 4th, 20th, 24th, 23rd Command Brigades, the Diyala Nidaa Brigade, the Special Forces Regiment and the 52nd Brigade of the Northern Axis in the Popular Mobilization, in addition to the supportive forces of the Popular Mobilization Authority, with air cover by the Army Aviation.
He added that the operation aims to pursue the remnants of the enemy and eliminate its caches in those areas to restrict its movement through which it carries out attacks on security forces and civilians.
