Integrity Commission: A summons order for the current Undersecretary of the Minister of Immigration and Displacement

Baghdad / NINA / – The Federal Integrity Commission announced the issuance of an order to bring in officials from the Ministry of Migration and Displacement, including a current undersecretary, on the grounds of causing damage to public money.

It stated in a statement: The case was investigated by the Supreme Commission for Combating Corruption and referred to the judiciary, and the Central Anti-Corruption Criminal Investigation Court issued a decision to bring in the Undersecretary of the Minister of Immigration and Displacement for Technical Affairs; This is due to the violations committed in the contract for the project to establish (Al-Amleh) camp located in Nineveh Governorate.

It added: The order also included the director of the contract department in the Ministry, and the heads and members of the bid analysis committees in which there are “discussions, receipt, supervision and follow-up, consensual liquidation, price fixing, spare orders, deletion and creation.”

It indicated: The Central Anti-Corruption Criminal Investigation Court issued a recruitment order as a result of these violations. This is based on the provisions of Article (340) of the Iraqi Penal Code No. (111 of 1969)./ End
