Integrity Commission Seizes A Network Specialized In Forging Government Seals In Kirkuk

Baghdad The Investigation Department of the Federal Integrity Commission announced the implementation of two arrests for those accused of forming a network specialized in forging government seals, and collecting sums of money illegally in Kirkuk governorate.

The department indicated that the work team of the Kirkuk Investigation Office was able, after collecting information and investigation, to apprehend two suspects specialized in forging government seals for the purpose of promoting non-authentic transactions in order to profit at the expense of public money, indicating the arrest of the main suspect in the crimes of forgery and forging seals, who works for the North Oil Company.

It added that the accused confessed during the investigation to his partner who works in the Directorate of Real Estate Registration – Kirkuk First, pointing out that the team seized the accused, explaining that seals belonging to a number of government departments and forged documents and documents attributed to government agencies in their possession were seized.

In a separate operation, the team that moved to two stadiums built by the governorate arrested (4) accused members of the popular committees in charge of running the two stadiums for their collecting sums without legal support from the teams that use the two stadiums, noting that the governorate built the stadiums and handed them over to committees to voluntarily manage and maintain them, and took pledges not to collect sums of money, but these committees exploited the stadiums and imposed sums of money on the teams playing in these stadiums.
